We provide a unique service catering for all large yacht new build and refit projects.
The primary intent nurtured in all parties involved within our operation is the desire to complete a job properly. Yes, we need to return a profit, but profit is not the sole motivation for the work we do.
Within this ethos we see the need for clear, open and mutually supportive operational relationships between all parties in Jacksons Superyacht Finishing and with all yard workers, subcontractors and management at any shipyard that employs our services. The basic premise within Jacksons is that it is in everybody’s best interests for the paintwork to be completed in the finest and most efficient way possible.
However we also recognise that due regard must be given to the needs of other construction processes occurring alongside the fairing and painting works. We believe a supportive inter-reliant or symbiotic relationship between all those involved in construction needs to be understood and supported to best achieve this.
Nick Giles and his team of highly experienced yacht fairers, many of whom have been with the company for more than 20 years, manage Jacksons’ daily operations. Chris Jackson and Nick Giles have been close friends for more than 30 years and worked together on other projects well before Jacksons was formed.
The key to our operation is flexibility and respect for all parties involved. We honour the fact that each and every one of our workers plays a vital role in any project and we encourage them to bring forth their best craftsmanship and innovative ideas in order that we may continue to work and grow together in a focused and interested manner. This helps keep the team fresh when repeating some of the very tiring and potentially tedious processes involved during the fairing of large yachts.
